Thank you, Nancy… I wondered as I wrote it, and decided to leave it as it was…it’s not that hard to translate if you say it to yourself, and I think it helps link us to our Hebraic roots. We have two Dea Sea Cosmetics kiosks in our mall…this Sunday I smiled and said Shalom to one of the young men, and his eyes lit up and he stopped me to talk. It was so neat to hear his accent…I just love it! He asked if I was Jewish, and I showed him my Magen David earring (I never take it out). And I gave him my Barriers business card, even though he is an observant Jew (he observes Shabbat and is Kosher). He joked about me believing in Jesus…but I pray that it and our encounter might help open his eyes.

Thank you for your comment… I love the Word, Cindy, especially as it comes alive through the Hebrew language! Passages we’ve been familiar with taken on new meaning and God gets even more glory.
